Okay guys, let me just start by saying I am an avid fan of American Apparel and their clothing. However, my recent encounter with their new see-through lingerie collection has me turning my eyes and shuddering a bit. My question is just where do we draw the line? I mean, if I wanted to visit a porn site, I surely would and could do just that. But when I go to American Apparel, I mean this may be a stretch, but I’m looking for CLOTHES. I’m not looking for some hot babes boobs.
Okay. Ladies and Gents, just hear me out. WHY is it okay for me to be bombarded with nip shots as I am trying to shop for some new threads? What are we doing? Dude’s don’t even have to watch porn anymore clearly they can just take a trip to http://www.americanapparel.net and be just fine. I just feel they could have worn this lingerie and left a little bit more to the imagination in the ads. I mean Jesus, do we even have imagination anymore?
What are your opinions on this? Am I doing too much by being concerned about this? If your claim is that I’m overeacting, then what does this suggest about our bodies in 2012?
